Letter to my husband

I found out my husband was cheating on me with a lady in his office and I was devastated. I couldn't believe it so I wrote him a letter asking him about it. He confirmed it but said he had broken off the relationship. He showed some remorse but a year later. I'm not sure the affair is over

From your conclusion, it appears he is not off this affair, or has started another one...serial cheaters usually do. Why not check those things that raised your suspicion.
If he is in an affair this time, confront him with the details.
