Marriage In Crisis

My husband David left me this last May 24th.

We have an eight year old adopted son but also in the process of adopting another baby we had waited 3yrs for.

My husband had an affair with someone that was a client with his company with 3 children under 8yrs.

Because of the goings on, I had to call the adoption agency and tell them we could not take the baby.

But my husband continued the affair, forced me out of our home and leased a condo for my son and I to live. He has an apartment 30 miles away where he lives with 3 of his adult children from his 1st marriage. He filed for divorce in August and had me served on Sept 20th which I contracted an attorney.

His girl friend also filed for divorce from her husband 1 week prior. He has now agreed to go to marriage counseling and extend the divorce.

In counseling, he said miracles could still happen between us but would not want to hurt his girl friend. But he told our counselor he would go to find out what he did and how we got to this crisis in our marriage.

Is their any hope for us? Or do you think he is playing me to get more out of the divorce.

We also have a son 8yr old that was adopted. I have been praying everyday.
